The results are in. We have 2 second place raw honey winners in the 2026 NJ honey competition. With hundreds of entires its an honor to get the silver metal twice! Our overall score was 97 out of 100. Points off for what you say??? A smudge found of the glass jar. Even though we prepare our entires wearing white cotton gloves a mark was noted on the glass jar. See the attached photo. Judges rule on moisture content, container, flavor, aroma, absence of defects and clarity. This puts us at 12 awarded ribbons since we starting entering in 2021.
